Counselling & Psychotherapy

Parent-Infant * Parent-Child * Child & Adolescent

Welcome ...

Hello, my name is Manuela.

I'm a qualified Child and Adolescent Counsellor and Parent-Child Therapist, and a Trainee Parent-Infant Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. I incorporate family and systemic as well as attachment-based principles into my practice with children and families.

Child and Adolescent: Working with children and families (with children up to age 17). Sessions are held individually with the child or young person as well as work with the parent and / or parent and child together.

Family and parent-child: Therapy sessions can be held with one or both parents and their child(ren).

Parent-Infant: This work is with parents during pregnancy and with their child (up to age 6).

DMM Practice: The DMM Model offers a range of age-appropriate attachment-based assessment procedures for parents and children.

Family and systemic principles: These enable exploration of the relationship patterns between family members and aid understanding about how they impact children.

My private practice is located in Bromley (BR1). Therapy sessions are conducted face-to-face in line with current COVID-19 guidelines. Meetings and parent-only assessment procedures are held via Zoom.

My clinical experience includes:

  • Child, young person and adult bereavement

  • Nurseries, primary and secondary schools

  • Domestic violence

  • Refugee and asylum seeker children and parents

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

  • Child Protection Social Work

  • Residential adult mental health

Making a referral:
